The vision of AESSEAL – and the vision of the Betterworld.Solutions project – is to find ways of making industry and the environment live in harmony. In parallel with a ‘factory for the future’ plan at the AESSEAL® Global Headquarters in Rotherham, England. AESSEAL® is developing ‘Tree Walk’ as an educational and public information resource.
Tree Walk consists of 1km of woodland and open meadows to support local wildlife. Additionally there are birdboxes, an insect hotel, hedgehog habitats and two bee hives containing 60,000 honey bees. An outdoor meeting area and picnic area will also be included to support the health and wellbeing of employees and visitors.
